What did these athletes learn from the causes of their epidemic

I think this is a testament to everything I went to last year. Being able to be back where I was, was able to play at such a high level and make an impact. I’m really proud of what I was able to do, and it shows. Many people do not return from Achilles’ injury and make the same impact, and I was still able to make a big impact.

It is mind-working and just working. I stayed again for as many days as I could and continued to put pressure on myself because I was the only one who was going to bring me back to this place. I put in the time. It is very tiring and it is about being patient and doing the right thing. I am 26 years old, I have a lot of days left to play and I want to make sure I make the most of them and put myself in a position to be able to do so.

It was kind of weird to leave. I flew to Seattle at 6 am and it was like ‘OK, bye’. There was not much to do there. We celebrated that night. And then people made their flights, people had to go home. I came back to Seattle and my mother picked me up and we went back home. I think that is what it should be. We had a virtual zoom festival with our fans, which was cool. But, you know, we all know that you can’t repeat things on a zoom. Whenever I see someone, they say congratulations, which is good.

It was weird seeing different people every single day. When I was walking down the street in Seattle, I am seeing people I have never seen before. When I’m walking down the street in a bubble, I’m seeing the same people over and over again.

I think the one thing I will miss is security. You should interact with people and not worry about where they are or where they are around or likely to be Kovid-19. Our bubble was super, super safe and it was good.

Looking at this time, I will think about the important messages that we were able to highlight. I wonder what happened during quarantine from March to June, when we were basically not going anywhere. Everyone was in their house, and as I said, appreciating the small things in life. I will think of Bryo Taylor. I think he still hasn’t done justice, even if there is an agreement. And we need to be better.

I remember we were able to come together as a league, All players representing more than just us. This is going to be a historic season because we really stepped up the message and that priority was No. 1, and then we played basketball.
